This is a giftart for a friend of mine, her name is Schwarzfell. She's fond of rats, like I am. *smiles* So I decided to give her a tribute, because she does so wonderful art! And she's a good friend, of course.
This picture is the first one since two years that I colored with PS.
thanks to spirapride [link] for his wonderful tutorials! They helped me a lot to get into this once more. I hope my skills in coloring will increase with some more practice.
EDIT: I drew this picture back in 2005 and it is NOT inspired by this [link] picture. It was the other way round more or less - the commissioner saw my art here and then a few months later considered to commission WildSpiritWolf to design her tattoo.

Watching the coloring is like discovering
a new branch of your creative tree.
- Being curious what will be the next victim
of your new old skill.
That being out the way, this has got to be the neatest twist on the yin-yang I've seen yet. Positively darling. Especially the colours, the muzzles on these critters are quite believable -- I love it.
